Jay has more than twenty five years of consulting and executive search experience who was probably one of the earliest to offer Executive Search Consulting in the city of Bangalore, starting way back in 1990. He specializes in appointing leadership teams for Global Technology Organizations for their Indian operations and leading Indian software companies.
Jay was the start-up leader for Stanton Chase India franchisee operations in 1999, which was then acquired by RGF, part of 16 B$ Japanese HR & Information Services Company, Recruit Holding Co. Ltd. As part of the network, Jay was the Regional Practice Leader for Technology in the APAC region. He was instrumental in setting up the initial platform for the technology practice which is the mainstay of the Firm’s India credentials.
He was one of the first to propagate the concept of “brain-gain”; identifying and attracting globally located Indian managerial and engineering talent for leadership roles back in India.
Jay is viewed as an affable, highly reliable and a confidential sounding board by many senior executives. He is a thoroughbred professional who is always prepared with inputs for both clients & candidates with relevant information and candidly presents both sides of the case.
Before his baptism into executive search, he had useful stints with Wipro and BEL in the Human Resources Departments.
He has a Bachelors Degree in Commerce and is a renowned Bengaluru protagonist, which makes him an almost permanent fixture in all important forums relating to the technology sector. Jay is often found airing his views in the media on corporate and social subjects with élan.
